Habitat for Humanity  On March 15, Civitan Accelerated members worked with Habitat for Humanity to put the finishing touches on several new homes for less fortunate families.

Special Olympics  On Saturday, April 12, Civitan Accelerated members supported athletes competing in the Special Olympics Basketball Tournament.

Handicap Ramp  On May 10, Civitan Accelerated members built a wheelchair ramp for a 17 year-old boy with cerebral policy.  Previously, his grandparent were having to carry him up several stairs and over the threshhold.

Center for Independent Living Cookout  On June 14, Civitan Accelerated members made dinner for and played games with the residents of the Center for Independent Living, which serves the homeless yout of Souther Nevada by providing shelter, programs, education and guidance to promote their transition from homeless to independent.
