The Action Club has partnered with other Civitan clubs around Birmingham to Clean the Cahaba River once a year. Each Spring, we take to the River in canoes and pull out approximately 40 yards of trash. Got Trash? That's our motto and we can clean it up!

Each year, Civitans clean about 5 miles of the river. Areas cleaned include Leeds, Grants Mill, Hwy 280 area, Hoover, and Helena. Nobody cleans the River better than we do. Volunteers are needed on shore as well as in the water so there is something for everyone to do.
