Essay Contest The topic for this year’s district essay contest is: “Recycling; what it means to the world, my community, and me.” The 1st place winning club essay for middle school and the 1st place winning club essay for high school are due to the essay chair by March 1, 2009. Please encourage your club to participate in this project. Youth Leadership Forum
The date for the Youth Leadership Forum is June 7-12, 2009. Due to the increase in the price of gas, it has been voted on and passed to increase the fee to $225 per student. All clubs are encouraged to send at least one delegate to this very worthwhile conference. The Forum is held on the campus of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
