Each yeark on the first week of February, our Club honors the clergy in our area by hosting them to a dinner and special program. 

 We annually have a Boston Butts and Turkey Breasts sale just prior to Thanksgiving, the third week of November.   

  Civitans are noted for their sale of Claxton Fruitcakes.  Our club annualy stocks our local stores with Claxton Fruitcake just prior to Thanksgiving and will continue the sale through Christmas. 

We sell Vidalia Onions as soon as the first crop is available each year.  This has become our best fundraiser.

Civitan is noted for placing mints in restaurants and other establishments to fund not only community projets, but also fund the Civitan International Research Center. This is an interdisciplinary center dedicated to improving lives through brain research and treatment of developmental disabilities.  The Alexander City club places mints in various establishments in our area to support this endeavour.

Club members assist the Salvation Army by being Bell Ringers at the local Wal Mart store in November .
