The Civitan International Research Center (CIRC) is located at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Local Civitan Clubs contribute to CIRC by participating in fund- raising projects that enable CIRC and the Civitan International Foundation to have the latest equipment and available technologies - they share their findings World wide and document results & methods in medical journals with organizations who have similar interests. |

Membership information:
Our chapter's annual membership fee is $72.00 per year. This fee pays for quarterly Civitan publications ($2.00 per quarter), membership in Civitan International ($15.00 per year), membership in the Chesapeake Civitan District ($5.00 per year) and liability insurance for work projects ($2.90 per year).
Civitan International includeds approximately 24,000 members located in 24 countries located around the world.
