Our next meeting is scheduled for August 10, 2009 6pm at the Bobby Bishop Community Center. Please try to attend this meeting. We have Rada Knives, Watkins Products, and Georgia Pecans that we are selling . The profits from these sales are returned to the Bear Creek Community. The Bear Creek Civitan cookbooks are now available at $8.00 each. This cookbook will make a great gift for people who like to cook. See any Bear Creek Civitan Club member to place your order. Some of the programs that we have planned for 2009 are as follows: August 22th--Senior Appreciation Meal August 24---Glenn Phillips to speak at the Bobby Bishop Community Center at 6pm with the Bear Creek Civitan Club hosting. Come and hear Glenn and have a meal with us. September 14--Spaghetti supper to start at 5pm with the meal to consist of salad, sphagetti, bread, dessert, and drink. Cost will be $5.00/adults and $3.00.children 10 and under. Come and enjoy a good meal. September 28--Neal Cook, Assistant DA for Winston County, to be our speaker at our 6pm meeting.
