The Demopolis Civitan Club, #3763 was chartered on May 25th, 2006.

Since the inception of the club we have been very involved with the community in a variety of projects. Our club has participated in the First Baby of the New Year at Bryan Whitfield Memorial Hospital; been a yearbook sponsor for the Demopolis High School Yearbook; sponsor for the quarterlyHonor Roll party at U. S. Jones Elementary School; one of three organizations that installed a flagpole at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in honor and memory of the U.S. Veterans.

Our membership has helped the local chamber of commerce with the annual Freedom on the River Children's Patriotic Parade on the 4th of July for the past three years.

Bass Fishing Tournaments are one way we help fund our projects. Our large fund raising project has been the annual "Fair in the Square" Arts and Craft Show, which is part of the annual Christmas on the River festival in Demopolis. 

The Demopolis Civitan Club meets the first and third Thursday of the month at Napoleon's Restaurant located at 123 W Washington Street in downtown Demopolis. Social time is 11:30 am, meeting begins at 12:00 pm. Lunch is ordered from the regular menu and guests are encouraged to attend.
