For the past 15 years and this year as well  the Dyersburg Civitan Club purchases, wraps and distributes Christmas gifts to each special education student in the Dyerburg and Dyer County schools.

Civitan Ellen Jackson coordinates this wonderful effort, contacting the schools to get the gift list from the children. She then shops and shops until she has found all the items desired and then Civitan volunteers converge to wrap the presents and get them ready for delivery.

The presents are distributed to the kids the week before Christmas.
