| Neapolitan Civitan Club has had another successful event hosting the Valentine party for handicapped adults in Naples. Club members provided toys for Salvation Army and participated in the kettle drive....also support Cancer Alliance of Naples and participate in the MS Home Walk/Run in April. Treasure Coast Civitan Club's second annual Golden Heart Award and Banquet provided program and dinner for 118 and recognition for 21 siblings who care for handicapped member(s). Top two winners received beautifully engraved lucite plaques and a gold heart pin. Club members also entertained 25 handicapped "special needs" kids with a Valentine party, live music for dancing and food each February. Pompano Beach Civitan orders and delivers fruitcake each year and donates proceeds to local charities. We offer sincere sympathy to president JR Robertson whose wife of 56 years died on January 29.
