Mission Statement

"To build good Citizenship by providing a volunteer service club dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities."

Gananoque Civitan meets at the Gananoque & District Association for Community Living 26 Mills Street Gananoque Ontario.

The Civitan Year begins October 1 to September 30

Meetings: 1st Wednesday of each month.

Each year new members are asked to Chair or Co- Chair a project. The Co-chair should be prepared to chair the same project the following year. Please remember you will be trained by then and also other members will assist. The new president assigns new people for many of our jobs ie: Sgt-at-Arms, Phone committee and the Newsletter. In some cases the same person may be asked to do the job again. Dues are paid each quarter.

Meetings follow Roberts Rules of Order.
