Announcement!! We have learned that Extreme Makeover is coming to Greensboro on November 15th. They will be selecting three families in North Carolina. An application was submitted for Vida Sharpe's family. We believe she has an excellent chance to be selected. Keep her family in your prayers.

Our Civitan Creed expresses our core beliefs. The mission of Civitan is to build good citizenship by being dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
We are involved with various projects for our community. Some of these projects are "hands-on" type projects such as building handicap ramps. Other projects are for fund raising to provide financial support to worthy causes.

Our guest was Debby Haynes, daughter of John Haynes. She showed up unexpectedtly because it was John's birthday.
John Suggs conducted a very interesting meeting. We broke up in pairs and exchanged information about our lives. We then reprorted that to the rest of the members.
