History

Charter Date: September 8, 1977

Club Mission: Provide networking, fellowship, community involvement, personal development and community service, emphasizing help to people with developmental disabilities.

Meeting Dates: 2nd & 4th Thursdays, 6 PM, at Tex & Shirleys Restaurant Friendly Shopping Center, Greensboro, NC

Attendance: Meeting attendance is not mandatory but recommended that all members attend at lease 60 percent or more of the meetings.

Visionary Projects: Special Olympics, Disco dances for the mentally and physically challenged, Boys & Girls Homes at Lake Waccamaw, Urban Ministry, Camp Carefree and others.
