.<center>Projects – What kind of projects does the Granite Quarry Civitan Club do?</center>Projects:Our first project – Troop 379, Boy Scouts of America. The troop has celebrated its 55th anniversary and currently has awarded over 40 Eagle Scout ranks during this time.
East Rowan High School Scholars' Banquet – in a time when athletes are recognized at the end of each season, scholars need recognition also. The club has honored the top ten students in each class and their parents for 10 years.
Service to the mentally handicapped and developmentally disabled. The Granite Quarry Civitan Club has worked closely with Rowan Homes, Inc. to provide a picnic for their residents. This involves the Junior Civitans of East Rowan High School also.
Major sponsor of Special Olympics – as a part of Civitan International, Special Olympics is a major project of Civitan Clubs everywhere.
