About Us:The Grant County Civitan club was officially chartered in the midst of Christmas preparations on Friday, December 15, 2006 with 45 charter members. The following morning, their first community project involved filling and distributing large Christmas stockings filled with toiletries and essentials to about 35 elderly residents of Grant County living in Heritage Manor and Heritage Square; local assisted-living apartments for the elderly and disabled. The members formed this club; dedicating themselves to making their community a better place to live for everyone through the dynamic of the combined efforts of caring individuals. |

Hello, Grant County Civitans!We will be hosting a booth at Timberfest this year where we will be holding a fund-raiser drawing for a 1-hour flight around Grant County. See our new photo page for pictures of the plane and pilot! As you know, developing programs and serving the needs of folks with developmental disabilites and their families are what Civitan has been doing for a long time. We certainly have needs here in Grant County. I hope to see all of you at the meeting on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:30 PM at 1st Methodist Church here in Sheridan. Invite someone you know.
