| What Is This Foundation Thing All About? |

The Great Southwest District Foundation is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3, arm of the Great Southwest Civitan District. We administer a scholarship for college students interested in special education; we run an essay contest for high school juniors and seniors; and we put on a weekend seminar for high school students to give them an idea of some skills they will need to make sound choices for their future.

You will not see any attempts to solicit money or donations on this site.

| We don't want anything from you but the chance to show you what Civitan means to us and what its members are doing to help make this a better world for everyone. For the Foundation, that means giving aid to the youth, and future, of our community. |
