Hanceville Civitan Club
The Hanceville Civitan Club is located in a small town in north Alabama called Hanceville. The population is approximately 2800 inhabitants. Hanceville is noted for Wallace State College and Our Lady of Angels Monastery. Its friendly down home atmosphere, the spirit of Civitan, and volunteerism creats a healthy enviornment for many community projects and services. Such projects include the Annual Kids Fish-A-Rama, Annual Cullman County/Hanceville Civitan Christmas Parade. The Christmas Parade is in its thirteenth year. Our Angel Tree Project focuses on supplying Christmas to local needy children. Many more worthwhile causes and service projects are available for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer through Civitan.
