NCDE includes the eastern half of our state, covering fifty-five counties and consisting of sixty clubs with almost two thousand members. Our clubs are divided into eight areas.

Hello Civitans,
As you know, each year NC District East Civitan annually awards two scholarships. One is given to a graduating senior from Boys & Girls Homes and a second is given to a Junior Civitan or a Campus Civitan in NC District East. The deadline for these scholarship applications is April 1, 2009.

One source of funding for these scholarships is through donations made on behalf of an individual to be a named a North Carolina District East Fellow. Donations can be made in any amount. When donations totaling at least $500 have been made on behalf of an individual, she or he will be named a Fellow. When possible, these awards will be presented at a District-wide meeting. All Fellows will be listed in the North Carolina District East Directory on an annual basis. We hope you will consider recognizing a member of your club by awarding them with a Fellow and at the same time enable NCDE Civitan to award scholarships to deserving youth.
