North Raleigh Civitan Club has been serving our community since 1981. We are dedicated to help those in need, with particular emphasis on those with developmental disabilities. We join Civitans around the world in our support of the Civitan International Research Center, a pre-eminent research facility that deals with the causes of mental retardation and developmental disabilities and their effects on family life.

Civitans are committed to meeting human needs through community involvement while providing each Civitan with experience essential to personal development. We serve through actions which reaffirm and strengthen the individual dignity of people. We establish bonds of fellowship which enrich our personal lives and enable us to provide effective service. And we invite others to share our commitment to service, knowledge and fellowship through Civitan.
