The first three months of the "Champion Civitan" year has been completed with exciting things happening for the club: - Installed 2 new members in November.
- Club membership now at 9, goal for year of 12!
- New member Marie O'Donahue has created the clubs Web site and agreed to keep it updated.
- Speakers from Life Care and Open Shelter with ideas that can be done with the Upper Arlington High School students.
- Student Advisor from Upper Arlington informed club as to the typical projects that the students perform for the volunteer hours in the community.
- Christmas donation to Better Way Ministries.
- Placed and serviced 1000 pounds of Fruit Cake to the Columbus area.
Second quarter will be under way with a Board meeting and planning session at the home of Mindy Rosen on Monday, January 14, 2008. Things in the works are the Scholarship form for the Sam Rosen Scholarship Fund, area planning of joint functions and hopefully visit to several group homes that future projects can be done for. Calendar of Scheduled Area Events - January 14 - Home of Mindy Rosen @ 6 p.m. Quarterly dues of $22 are due.

- March 8 - 16 - Columbus International Car Show Fundraiser - Can wear Civitan clothing
- March 10 - No meeting so that volunteer and fundraising can be done at the car show
- March 24 - Club Meeting
