PRESIDENT’S NOTES
BINGO Monday, January 12 at 7:30 pm at 1st Presbyterian Church Homeless Shelter was an outstanding success. Buzzy (henceforth to be known as The Scrounger) acquired some quilted vests (enough with overage for ALL participants), “sports bags” (many), battery radios, and snacks. On that very cold evening, it could not have gone better or more appreciated. Civitans helping were Buzzy, Sam, and Mary Alice, Kendra and me. We were invited back. However, the proposed date conflicted with the Williamsburg District Meeting in March - - I suggested we might be available for two sessions next year. Thanks, thanks, thanks to all!

THOUGHT for the DAY: The various religions are like different roads converging on the same point. What difference does it make if we follow different routes, provided we arrive at the same destination?
