Pensacola Citizen of the Year
For over 35 years, the Pensacola Civitan Club has been recognizing an outstanding citizen in the community. This is an individual who has given to the community to make it a better place. The "Citizen of the Year" may be a volunteer, elected official, educator, clergy or business leader. Pensacola Civitans bestow the honor which exemplifies an individual as a good Citizen.
High School Citizen of the Year
Good citizenship is a value the Pensacola Civitan Club strives to emphasize in our community. One venue is to recognize good citizenship in our schools. A senior student from each area high school is selected by the school. Club members will attend the Senior Awards Ceremony for each school and present the student with a certificate and placque showing our appreciation to this student and emphasizing the importanct of being invovled in one's community.
