Phoenix Civitan Club is the First Club in the District
 
The Phoenix Civitan Club, Inc. was chartered on November 19,1953 by the founder of Civitan International, Dr. Courtney W. Shropshire, a retired urologist who was living in Phoenix with his daughter and son-in-law. Our 50 year celibration was held in the Fall of 2003. We have a past International President and three past District Governors that are part of our active membership.
