Civitan's Mission Statement
The mission of Civitan worldwide is to build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization of clubs dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.

Charter Date: May 15, 1979.
Club Mission:
Provide networking, fellowship, community knowledge, personal development and service to its community with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
Meeting Place:
The club meets at the Oak Grove Recreation Center

Marietta, Oh 45750
Meeting Time and Dates:
The 1st Thursday and the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
Quarterly Dues:
Dues are $19.00 per quarter or $76 if paid annually. Dues include a club fee, a district fee and an international fee.
Attendance:
Meeting attendance is not mandatory but we would like all members to try to attend 60 percent or more of the meetings.
The Pioneer Ladies Civitan Club is a duly chartered club of Civitan International. Civitan began in 1917 in Birmingham, Alabama. The World Headquarters is still located in Birmingham.
