Mission Statement: The Civitan Mission is to serve individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities. To that purpose, the Silver Valley Civitan Club hosts numerous events and supports many organizations that benefit people with disabilities. The club pledges over $4000 and hundreds of hours on an Annual basis to enhance the lives of special populations. As in the previous six Rolling in the Valley Bicycle Rides, members of the Special Olympics Davidson County Cycling Team and their partners will be Honor Starters. They also participate in other Area rides in training for competition in the Special Olympics North Carolina Fall Games. |
