Tampa Metro Civitan Club

Tampa Metro Civitan Serves the Community

Our club's mission statement is: "To build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities."   To achieve our mission we volunteer our time and talent with several organizations, including the Special Olympics (county, area, and state) and Angel's Unaware.

To promote citizenship and volunteerism in the youth of Tampa Bay, our club sponsors Junior Civitan Clubs at Jefferson, King, Alonso, and Sickles High Schools.

Additionally, we identify the contributions of others through our club's Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award, presented to an outstanding citizen of the Tampa community who has volunteered his or her time and talent to better our community.
