The Tampa Metro Civitan Club's Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award winner is selected by a committee of peers -- community leaders, business heads, and past honorees -- for their selfless contributions of unpaid TIME and TALENT during the previous calendar year to aid our community. Once the winner is selected, their identity is kept secret until revealed at the Florida State Fair's Governor's Day Luncheon, in the presence of the Florida Governor, members of Florida Cabinet, local leaders, and more than 1000 invited guests. The 2010 Florida State Fair is just around the corner -- February 4th - 15th. I wonder who will be the next Tampa Metro Civitan Club's Outstanding Citizen of the Year! |
