Our President for 2010-2011 is Linda Bell. 

 My home town is Hanceville in Cullman County, where I was reared w/an older sister and brother, both who still live in Cullman County. We came from a farming background where you worked hard and long and learned that it’s easier to work with your brains rather than with your hands!
My working career started with a paper company, bank, auditing company, medical facility, and ended this January 2010 when I retired from the working population. I highly recommend retirement! With the opportunities available today to volunteer for community activities such as Civitan, Church, and others, it is not at all difficult to stay busy. With my three grown children and my husband, Terry’s four grown children, we have nine equally busy grandchildren where we spend time watching their soccer, baseball, basketball,l and football games year round. Life is good! I am indeed blessed.
We joined the Civitan Club in 2004 and have participated as officers, committee members, and in most of the year-long events. I look forward to helping enrich our community with the values that our fellow Civitan members bring to the table. We endeavor to follow this year’s Civitan motto by helping others as we “Pay it Forward!”
